Cole Branson

Cole is currently the Chief Operating Officer for Safari Unlmiited. He is a Missouri State University graduate with a degree in Business. He has been hunting and fishing his whole life, including Africa, Mexico, South America, Belize, and more. An avid duck hunter, Cole has guided both domestic and international clients and began guided fishing trips at a very young age.

Cole currently resides in Mid-Missouri and has extensive land management experience in local wetlands conservation. He is an Eagle Scout, specializes in cooking wild game, and is a true outdoorsman.

Karlin Dawson

Karlin graduated from Westminster College with a degree in biology. She has worked as a professional dive master around the world and as a whitetail guide at our home base in Missouri. Alongside guiding and assisting in the managment of Safari Unilmlited, she is also working as a Naturlist  for the Missouri Department of Conservation. An avid hunter and outdoorswoman, Karli is dedicated to a life of guiding others around the world, one adventure at a time!

Drew Norton

Master whitetail guide and waterfowl expert, Drew has been guiding for Safari Unlimimted for 5 years. After a tour in the US Marine Corps, Drew will go the extra mile and have the stories to make it all seem easy. Known for his big, beautiful trucks, you may need a step ladder but you can hear him coming when he leaves the lodge!

Shane "Pogo" Landry

 Pogo Landry has been a Guide with Safari Unlimited for over 33 years. A master story teller, sometimes in Cajun French, sometimes English, sometimes we don't know - but the laughter and the beer will be an unforgettable experience. All of camp is an amazing experience because of him. You will fun yourself all night "Pogo or No Go" is what his clients say! 

Remington Landry

Remi is a second generation guide taught by the best - his father, legendary gator guide "Pogo." He grew up hunting in the swamp with his dad from an early age. He currently holds the record for largest client gator taken in camp for the last 10 years. We are lucky to have Remi on our team!

 "Tattoo" is everything you can imagine of a South Louisiana alligator guide. Few people are more versed in the swamp, its creatures, and its spirits. A Cajun master, he is truly the most interesting man alive. The stories we can tell. 

Zamariah "ZZ" Loupe

 ZZ Loupe, Safari Unlmited Guide and owner of world renowned Zam's Swamp Tours, has grown up with alligators his entire life. Whether it be wrestling them or showing them to crowds around the world on the front lines of wildlife conservation, ZZ's constantly in the public's eye from the amazing swamp tours to his countless TV appearances, not including the years he spent  wrestling for WWE! 


ZZ walks inthe foot steps of his ancestors legacy - ALLIGATORS. He was bred and raised to become the accomplished, talented, and masterful alligator hunting guide that he is today. You can always count on an amazing experience in Louisiana hunting gators in the swamp, watching sunsets while listening to his great artful storytelling, while having a good time on the bayou with Zamariah Loupe!

Belize Guides

Roland & Polly Alford

 Roland and Polly Alford are a husband and wife team.  Roland is fanatical about fishing and Polly is a passionate scuba diver.  In 2012 they decided to fuse their passions and skills into tourism and Blue Reef Adventures was born.  


Captain Roland was born in Belize and has fished the Belizean waters his entire life!  You will find it hard to meet a more knowledgeable, experienced and dedicated Fisherman and Captain!  He will work tirelessly to put you on the fish!  And, he makes the best sashimi in Belize!


Polly is from the UK and moved to Belize in January 2004 to form a non-profit marine conservation organization.  She is a PADI Instructor with over 6,000 dives!  Nowadays Polly spends most of her time running the business from the mainland.  She still loves to fish and dive and will go hunt and spear the invasive Lionfish whenever she gets a chance!  

Roland’s sons Byron and Anderson are following in their Dads footsteps!  They both work with Roland on the boat and are as passionate and enthusiastic about fishing as their Father. It is quite something to watch the Alford boys in action!

Captain Jeff Bryden

 Captain Jeff has a Bachelor Degree in Natural Resources and holds a 50-ton U.S.C.G. license.   He has been plying and fishing Alaskan waters, year round, for over 25 years!  As a retired federal law enforcement officer and marine safety instructor, he was once responsible for patrolling this area and training new officers.  His unique insight of Alaskan locals, visitors and wildlife provide a rich story telling environment around the warmth of the campfire at the end of the day.  When he is not out fishing or hunting, he volunteers his time by serving on several local boards including:  Kenai Chapter of Safari Club International, Kenai Chapter of Delta Water Fowl and the Moose Pass Fire Company.  

Texas Guide

Garrett Whitaker

 Garrett was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle. He grew up with his family’s business High Flying Outfitters. He helped with the outfitter while growing up. When Garrett graduated high school, he went to Texas Tech University to pursue a degree in Animal Science. Upon completing schooling his family retired their hunting business and Garrett started his own outfitter, Diamond Wing Outfitters, with his wife Taylor. Garrett has been a part of the hunting industry since around 2000 when his family’s outfitter was started.  Garrett’s specialties with hunting include upland game, waterfowl, deer, and pronghorn.
